the Ipsy MAY Glambags are out!!! Got mine last week and loved every last item in it! Items came in a beautiful summery bag with a teal green/orange chevron print. My bag included the following:

Pacifica Coconut Crushed Pearl bronzing butter (deluxe sized sample)

Smelled awesome. Very sparkly on skin. I couldn’t really tell if it gave a “bronzing effect” since I am already pretty tan. But I really loved how it smelled and moisturized!

Juice Beauty gloss in Pink

This is a new brand that I have found through using Ipsy that I really like! This month’s bag included organic gloss. I got a shade of pink (at least that’s what it says) but it was more of a dark pink/plum color. Very lush and sparkly on. Has a great gloss texture. Full sized!

Zoya nail polish in “Piaf”

A bright, pastel yellow shade with flecks of white and sliver glitter. Zoya is a salon grade brand that I used to use frequently. This shade is perfect for summer with just a subtle bit of shimmer to it. Full size.

NuMe Finishing Serum

Conditions and seals your hair for use before heat styling! It smells great. Very thick oil style serum to be applied to damp hair. Also included was a gift certificate for $110 off and a free heat sleeve for a styling tool for use on the NuMe website!

Yaby concealer in light

This little sample fit perfectly in my GlamRx pallette from a previous bag! Creamy and light. Perfect to cover some trouble spots without having to wear a full face of foundation. Also goes perfectly under a BB cream or foundation!

Bonus Item! I also got an Urban Decay Moondust eyeshadow in Stargazer! I got the bonus item for having two referrals before the bag shipped out! It was a full size sample! I love how sparkly and irredescent it is! The color I got was yellowish/gold and compliments my purple hair perfectly. These new shadows come in 7 shades!

I recently modeled for a Dr Sketchy even nearby in Akron and my friend Dionne was there with her wonderful jewelry and trinkets! I absolutely LOVE her stuff and I figured others would too. The top pic is of two necklaces she gifted to me (that I will most likely wear for shoots!) One is Star Wars and the other is Spider Man with and antique looking brass skeleton key. Both are made with quality materials and I adore the steampunk look. She does all types of different imagery (see middle pic) From nerdy stuff, to sci-fi and even Nightmare Before Christmas. I’m in LOVE with this wiggy space kitty tee, so much so that I wore it TWICE this past weekend in Chicago. I wish I had a pic of it on. It’s SUPER oversized and falls off the shoulder, but the colors are bright and vivid. I paired it with some shredded Dollhouse skinny jeans and a pair of neon anti-gravity sneakers from AMIclubwear. Topped it off with a studded biker jacket.

So I had wanted to post a pic of the Jaws tee that Angapunk altered for me. It turned out FANTASTIC! I rocked it for the first time this weekend at C2E2. I paired it with my Black Milk blood splatter leggings and black and gold studded Nike dunks. It was comfy yet cute and lots of people stopped to compliment me on it. I even met some fellow “Sharkies” because of it!!!

This month’s Glossybox had some really fantastic products! As usual I got a some full sized items as well as three deluxe sized samples. The first full sized item was a TIGI glow Blush in a lovely shade of pink. I also got a full size organic lip balm by The Honest Company. It had no flavor or scent, just a nicely textured balm perfect for summer! Alterna haircare provided a deluxe sized sample of their Bamboo Style Boho Waves texture mist. I’m really excited to try this product since I loved the last sample I had from them. My only thumbs down for their products is the scent, the Bamboo line tends to smell a bit “hippy-ish” but this one was as strongly scented as the Luminous shine mist. Bvlgari threw in a full sized bath tea bag. The sample size of Wash With Joe smelled AMAZING! It didn’t want to come out of it’s bottle even though it is a runny texture. It was a rich brown color and felt awesome. I def want to buy the full size. And lastly was Le Metier De Beaute sample packet of their daily replenishing lotion. Attached was a $75 off code if you order the full size. Glossy box always provides far more product value than the $20 subscription fee (The full sized items would have cost $42.45)

This months Ipsy bag was “pretty in pink” themed! It came in a cute little canvas clutch with hot pink detailing. Each item inside was pink. A Sation Nail lacquer, A “be a bombshell…” blush and “Two” pink shadow duo. (the colors look a little more brownish in the pics) Also a deluxe size sample of soy leave in treatment with argan oil by Healthy Sexy Hair! I was super stoked on this months bag!!!

So I gave the “Yes to Tomatoes” acne treatment set a shot. I had heard good things about the moisturizer ($15 solo) and the set with all three (full sized) products was only $19 at Target. It comes with the facial scrub, lotion and a rollerball spot treatment. I spent an extra $2 for the one use portion of the mask! All the products are pretty great. I don’t recommend use of the scrub with a Clairsonic, it’s much too abrasive. The lotion has an odd scent and weird texture, but if you can get past that it really is a great product! After two days of use I saw results and my chin was clearing up. I tend to have scarring after a breakout and the lotion has also helped even out my skin tone. The rollerball didn’t dazzle me and it kind of stings. But I don’t mind that I got it since each product in the kit is usually $15 on it’s own. The mask felt fabulous! You only leave it on for 5 mins then rinse but my face felt awesome after using it and my chin started to look better. I really dig all of the products I have tried so far in the “Yes To” line and def suggest them!
